About us
We both worked in tourism for several years – as organisers and tourist guides for English speaking guests. We have always been travelling a lot and some years ago our big wish came true – we bought a motorhome. We have been all around Europe and we travelled also to Vojvodina. We were amazed by the unspoilt nature and ample opportunities for cycling, boating, fishing, swimming ..., and above all, friendly people who can still take time. As Joco’s family comes from this area, we took the opportunity to buy a piece of land right next to the Danube and we started to build a campsite there. We have a lot of motorhoming experience, we have met a lot of motorhomers, and we would like to arrange the campsite to meet your wishes and needs and to create a place where you will really feel welcome.Nature is our greatest wealth and as we want to keep it unspoilt and beautiful also for our descendants, we decided to found Society Duna. In addition to care about nature and ecology its mission is also cooperation with European clubs, joining lovers of nature and camping.
As we live in Slovenia, Joco’s brother Saša and his wife Milka, who live in Apatin, will take care about you and offer you advice and help, if needed. They will be happy to welcome you and to suggest how to spend your time in Vojvodina.
We are sure that this is a place where you can really rest and enjoy nature, where you will be woken by birds singing.
